About Me

Hey Y'all!!!

I am so glad you took the time to visit my page and learn more about me.

I am the second oldest in a family of seven kids. My parents are both firefighters and paramedics, and they have been my #1 fans and supporters from day one.

I am originally from Southeast Georgia, but I have lived in Charleston, South Carolina, for the past 8 years.

Up until the age of 12, I was a cheerleader and gymnast. My dad insisted on me playing softball, and I fell in love. In my first season on rec ball, I decided that I wanted to pitch and have not looked back!  I am probably the most undersized pitcher you are ever going to meet (I really am only 5’1" tall), but like they say, good things come in small packages.  I am also a utility that can play all positions including 1st (not a great choice since I am only 5'1").  I am definitely NOT a catcher.  We all know pitchers think they can be the best catchers around and can “make that look good” until they see it and realize it’s not so good.

When I am not on the field, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family. You will most often find me in the gym, at the beach (my favorite place in the world), out shopping with my older sister, or at the fire station with my dad.

But... more often than not, you will see me with my "baby" River. He is my Great Dane puppy, almost bigger than me, but I still carry him around like a baby.

I am part of my high school HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America) program and on varsity softball. I am currently in between travel teams (it's hard to find the right fit, and I hope to use this search as a learning experience for my college search).

I have been a volunteer with Toys for Tots for the past five years and look forward to it every year. I also volunteer with my local rec department, helping younger softball players with mechanics and pitching lessons. Most recently, I have been volunteering with our local Fire Department in emergency management preparation and am a member of the FEMA Youth Coalition.

I look forward to keeping everyone updated and speaking with you soon.
